17 months

My baby is getting all grown up! I can't believe it's been almost a year and a half since he was born. It's making me feel old. Having a newborn is one thing, but having a child who's practically 2 years old? Oh man.

This kid is amazing. I love him so much. He is goofy, and funny, and cuddly, and serious, and feisty, and ornery, and independent and is just growing up so fast.
Can I say that enough? He seems so grown up.

His favorite things these days are CARS. The toy, the movie, and the real thing.
Every day we spend time playing in daddy's truck, pushing buttons and honking the horn. He likes his toy cars and his toy trains and likes making "vroom" sounds for everything.
Also, he is really into watching movies lately, which is not my favorite, but I allow him to watch a little bit every day because it allows me to get dinner made without a clinging crying baby on my leg.

When he sees babies he gets really interested in them. Maybe it's just their binkies, but he wants to touch their hands and share his toys and sippy cups with them.
It bodes well for siblings someday.
He is also getting better at playing with other kids. Most of the time. Sometimes he gets ornery and grabby and violent, but we are working on that.

Hehe the picture on the left is all angelic, and the one on the right is a head thrown back maniacal laugh.
Meal times are getting better. Some nights he still takes up to three hours to decide he wants to eat, but it's definitely getting better. And he almost always feeds himself, and is much less messy than he used to be.

Mostly he is just getting so much personality. Every day he becomes more and more interesting.

He has started to love wrestling with his dad. If Dane starts baby wrestling, Milo smiles and smiles and tries to get onto Dane's back to smoosh him flat. And then he jumps on Dane's back with his booty. Adorable boys.

Milo has finally picked up more signs for things. He knows please, thank you, and all done.
He even says "all done" as he signs his made up sign. For some reason he holds his hand in front of his face for all done, instead of the real sign. But we know what he means.

We love our tiny man baby child. And I'm totally ok that my life revolves around his little life.
